I watched ALL COUPLES from the first season and though i was deeply entertained by the AlShin pairing, again, it was not something that moved me terribly or struck a chord with me because i really don’t know of anyone, myself included who has such a PERFECT relationship.
It was just something straight out of the movie that the sense of realism sometimes just fades away.
There was a point that i was starting to get tired of all the events that Alex does for Shinae.
It may be sweet at first but if everyday is an event day, i would find the romanticism of the gesture wear off and probably just see it more of a schtick that’s overplayed for the sake of its audience than something that is heartfelt which in turn leads to it somehow becoming corny. :)
